Climate change threatens our world and it is one of the factors that adversely affect human health

With a substantial increase in the factories after the Industrial Revolution, the greenhouse gas emission in the atmosphere started to increase. These developments have caused an increase in average temperatures globally and led to climate change. This change has adverse effects; almost eliminating the concept of the seasons. Thus, the immune system of people who cannot keep up with the change of the seasons is also getting weak. Indeed, human health is easily affected by weather conditions and the climate. These extreme situations create negative results for human health. Because climate change can transmit some infectious diseases. Climate change is especially one of the biggest causes of many problems such as drought, chronic or infectious diseases in Sub-saharan Africa.

Air Pollution Makes the Environment Suitable For Diseases Like the Coronavirus

The air pollution caused by greenhouse gases also sets the ground for respiratory infections such as the coronavirus outbreak. Inhaling the polluted air causes the virus to get into the body more easily while damaging the respiratory system. It is also an undeniable fact that air pollution causes diseases such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). We need to take measures for preventing air pollution to minimize the damage that fatal viruses such as the Coronavirus inflict on humans. If we reduce air pollution, we can prevent climate change to an extent and make the world a more habitable place. Hoping that we all can breathe in a sustainable and healthy world…
