This enables international teams to access the technical infrastructure and industry connections they need more quickly. The General Directorate of Cinema’s efforts to support the industry also increase Türkiye’s appeal for international productions. The institution contributes to the faster execution of shooting permits and administrative processes, while also playing a role in strengthening coordination among industry stakeholders. This approach enables international production teams to work more efficiently in Türkiye.

The incentive mechanisms implemented in Türkiye are also among the important factors that attract the interest of international producers. The provision of up to 30% cash rebate for eligible expenses under the Cinema Law No. 5224 makes Türkiye a competitive filming destination for global productions.
