DEIK REPRESENTED THE TURKISH BUSINESS WORLD ON THE GLOBAL STAGE WITH OVER 3,000 EVENTS IN 2024-2025

DEİK has organized a wide range of events, from roundtable meetings attended by the President to business forums in Africa and Asia, investment conferences, and JETCO meetings, thereby increasing the visibility and effectiveness of the Turkish business world on an international scale

DEIK increased the global visibility of the Turkish business world
by organizing more than 2,220 events in 2024. The Iraq-Türkiye and Türkiye-Uzbekistan Roundtable Meetings, held with the honorary presence of our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the Roundtable Meeting within the scope of the 15th Türkiye Investment Conference, the Spain-Türkiye Business Forum, and the Serbia-Türkiye Business Forum were among the prominent events.

The Türkiye-Tanzania and Türkiye-Egypt Business Forums and Roundtable Meetings, held with the participation of President Samia Suluhu Hassan of the United Republic of Tanzania and President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi of Egypt, the Türkiye-Senegal DOSYA | FILE Business Forum, and the Business Council Working Dinner attended by the President of Montenegro, Jakov Milatovic, demonstrated DEIK’s influence in international relations.

In 2024, various Business Forums and Roundtable Meetings were also held as part of the JETCO meetings. Notable events included the 39th American-Turkish Conference, the 27th Japan-Türkiye Business Council Joint Meeting, the Turkish-German Business Cooperation Reception attended by former German President Christian Wulff, the Türkiye-Saudi Arabia Business and Investment Forum, and the Türkiye-Palestine Business Council Meeting.

As of 2025, DEIK held 1,150 events between January 1 and July 31. During this period, Business Forums were organized on the occasion of our President’s visits to Indonesia, Malaysia, and Pakistan, as well as the Italy-Türkiye Business Forum, a Roundtable Meeting held during the visit of our Minister of Trade, Prof. Dr. Ömer Bolat, to Japan, the 16th Türkiye Investment Conference, the Turkish Eximbank & AfC Africa Project Finance Summit, the Finland-Türkiye Roundtable Meeting, and the Türkiye-Slovenia Business Forum were among the most notable events.

DEIK’s activities continued unabated in the second half of 2025. The 17th Türkiye Investment Conference was held on September 22, and the 28th Türkiye-Japan Joint Business Council Meeting was held on October 8. The Türkiye-Africa Business and Economy Forum is planned for October 16-17, and the EU-Türkiye Business Summit and the 3rd Türkiye-China Business Conference, Business Forum, and Roundtable Meetings are planned for November. Furthermore, meetings organized under the Joint Economic Commission and the Joint Economic and Trade Commission (JETCO), along with the Business Council delegations’ visits, reinforce DEIK’s activities that enhance the global impact of the Turkish business community.
