It was stated in the plan that at least €1 trillion would be used for green transformation for the next 10 years, and for the 2021-2027 period, at least €100 billion would be allocated to support the groups that would be most affected both economically and socially as part of the Just Transition Mechanism. The EU is also shifting almost all its mechanisms towards the fight against climate change by solidifying its sustainable and green financial structure. 36
