In addition, we have started to make verification and reporting for a long time within the scope of preparation for the EU Emissions Trading System (ETS). As a member of the Turkish Industry & Business Association (TÜSİAD) Green Deal Task Force, we act in a way to offer sustainable transportation solutions by developing low- emission and efficient vehicles as well as our production activities within the scope of our Climate Change Action Plan. Tesislerimizde tamamen yenilenebilir enerji kaynakları kullanırken, çevresel performansımızla birçok ödüle layık görülmeyi sürdürüyoruz. Buna ek olarak AB Emisyon Ticareti Sistemi’ne (ETS) hazırlık kapsamında uzun bir süredir doğrulama ve bildirim yapmaya başlamış bulunuyoruz. Türk Sanayicileri ve İş İnsanları Derneği (TÜSİAD) Yeşil Mutabakat Görev Gücü üyesi olarak, İklim Değişikliği Eylem Planımız kapsamında üretim faaliyetlerimizin yanı sıra düşük emisyonlu ve verimli araçlar geliştirerek sürdürülebilir ulaşım çözümleri sunmak üzere hareket ediyoruz. which has the potential to change the functioning of the global economy and international trade with its goals, the automotive industry is one of the industries expected to undergo the most change in Turkey. As Ford Otosan, we closely follow the process regarding the Green Deal within the scope of our sustainability strategies. We are taking the necessary steps for the green transformation within the scope of the largest automotive investment in the history of the Republic, which we announced in recent months. Through this investment with which we will realize elec- tric and connected next-generation commercial vehicle projects, our Kocaeli plants will become the first and only electric vehicle integrated production facility including the battery in Turkey, and we will reach a battery assembly capacity of 130 thousand units. In the first stage, by 2022, we will be realizing the mass production of Ford’s first all-electric commercial vehicle E-Transit for Europe. By 2023, we will be producing the first all-electric version of the Next-Generation Transit Custom family, with diesel and rechargeable hybrid electric PHEV (Plug-In Hybrid) versions. We have signed the statement “Transition to zero-emission freight road transportation” of ACEA for which we undertake global development and produc- tion activities as Ford Otosan and have demonstrated our commitment to the goal of reducing the heavy-duty commercial vehicles carbon footprint to zero as of 2040, in line with the Green Deal. As Ford Otosan, we plan to reach the 2050 zero-emission target of the EU Green Deal through our long-term invest- ments in our production facilities as well as the vehicles we manufacture. We have the most efficient production line in Ford EU in terms of energy consumption per vehicle in our production activities for three years. We plan to be carbon-neutral by 2050, including the action plans set by the EU Green Deal commission. We will reduce our carbon footprint per vehicle by 55% in line with the requirements of 2030, which is an important milestone. We will achieve this through our eco-friendly products and our flexible production, including batteries, and integrated approach. ekonominin ve uluslararası ticaretin işleyişini değiştirme potansiyeline sahip olan Yeşil Mutabakat kapsamında ihracat lideri olan otomotiv sektörü, Türkiye’de en fazla değişim geçirmesi beklenen sektörlerin başında yer alıyor. Ford Otosan olarak sürdürülebilirlik stratejileri kapsamında Yeşil Mutabakat’a dair süreci yakından takip ediyoruz. Geçtiğimiz aylarda duyurduğumuz; Cumhuriyet tarihinin en büyük otomotiv yatırımı kapsamında yeşil dönüşüm için gerekli adımları atıyoruz. Elektrikli ve bağlantılı yeni nesil ticari araç projelerini hayata geçireceğimiz bu yatırımla, Kocaeli fabrikalarımız Türkiye’nin bataryası dâhil, ilk ve tek elektrikli araç entegre üretim tesisi haline gelecek ve 130 bin adetlik batarya montaj kapasitesine ulaşa- cağız. İlk etapta 2022 yılı itibarıyla Ford’un tam elektrikli ilk ticari aracı E-Transit’in Avrupa’ya yönelik seri üretimini gerçekleştireceğiz. 2023 itibarıyla Yeni Nesil Transit Cus- tom ailesinin dizel ve şarj edilebilir, hibrit elektrikli PHEV (Plug-In Hybrid) versiyonları ile tam elektrikli ilk versiyonu- nu üreteceğiz. Ford Otosan tarafından global geliştirme ve üretim faaliyetlerini üstlendiğimiz Ford Trucks marka kamyon ve çekici araçlarımıza yönelik ACEA’nın “Sıfır emisyonlu yük taşımacılığına geçiş” bildirisini imzaladık ve Yeşil Mutabakat’a uyumlu şekilde 2040’tan itibaren ağır ticari filo karbon ayak izinin sıfıra düşürülmesi hedefine bağlılığımızı gösterdik. Ford Otosan olarak, ürettiğimiz araçların yanısıra üretim tesislerimize yaptığımız uzun vadeli yatırımlarımızla da Avrupa Yeşil Mutabakatı’nın 2050 sıfır emisyon hedefine ulaşmayı planlıyoruz. Üretim faaliyetlerimizde araç başı enerji tüketiminde üç yıldır Ford Avrupa’nın en verimli üretim hattına sahibiz. AB Yeşil Mutabakat komisyonunun belirlediği eylem planları dahil olmak üzere 2050’de karbon nötr olmayı planlıyoruz. Önemli ilk dönüm noktası olan 2030 yılı gerekliliklerine göre araç başına düşen karbon ayak izimizi yüzde 55 oranında düşüreceğiz. Bunu çevre dostu ürünlerimiz ve batarya dahil kurguladığımız esnek üretim ve entegre yaklaşımımız ile gerçekleştireceğiz. 51 İŞ DÜNYASI | BUSINESS WORLD
