Turkish Aerospace is gaining global recognition with its air platforms

In recent years, the defense industry has become one of the most prominent sectors in our country, with investments continuing unabated. Turkish Aerospace is gaining global recognition with its air platforms. With the KAAN Turkish Fighter, Türkiye has positioned itself as one of the four countries producing 5th generation fighter jets. Our country’s first indigenous project and national jet, the Advanced Jet Trainer Aircraft HÜRJET, successfully completed the afterburner test on October 2nd with enabling it to gain acceleration and reach supersonic speeds. Moreover, the working process still going on the world’s biggest multirole heavy combat helicopter ATAK II which took its maiden flight in April, 2023. In Unmanned Aerial Vehicle ANKA III, which is produced after ANKA and AKSUNGUR featuring a delta wing design and its jet engine, is eagerly awaiting its debut in the sky after successfully completing its final tests.

As we celebrate the 50th anniversary of our company and the 100th anniversary of our Turkish Republic, we tirelessly continue our endeavors to place our country among the leading nations in the aviation sector. As part of our R&D efforts, not only producing indigenous platforms but through significant investments in our testing centers, we prevent the capability data of our platforms to other nations. In this context, with our Bird Strike Test Facility, Lightning Test Facility, Wind Tunnel Facility, and Radar Cross-Section Test Facilities, we now stand among the world’s leading production and testing centers in the aviation sector.
